Drug Plot Unravels with Ironic Bag in Portland
An ingenious drug-trafficking plan went awry in Portland — Metro Police arrested 37-year-old Mia Baggenstos and 35-year-old Reginald Reynolds initially on suspicion of grand theft auto. During the arrest, officers noticed a bag with a seemingly amusing inscription on it. Police searched the bag labeled "Definitely not a bag full of drugs." Inside, law enforcers found the drugs directly (10 grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine), as well as cash and a gun, contrary to the funny print's assurances. The suspect, whose ingenious plan went awry, faces up to 25 years in prison.
